what are some sign/symptom are noticeable when the lift is gone? beside the fact that there's no power after 6k..i heard the rpm will jump up and down..how drastic is that? because my don't jump up or down...i had my AC on and wanted to see if the lift still work, but no respond after 6k..i dunno if it broke or worn off..i changed them like 3 months ago..brand new bolts..

would toyota fix it under the TBS?? because i changed them already, i dunno if they would fix it under that..help...!!!

From what i've read in other posts, don't count on Toyota fixing lift bolts under warranty. frown

Was your car warmed up?

The temperature gauge must increase by two clicks before lift will be enabeled to engage.

Drive it longer, until the temp gauge is unmistakebly warm, and then try it again.

if your car is under 60 thousand miles..toyota will fix TSB's on the original manufacturer's warranty. it will NOT work if you are over 60k even if you have the extended 100 thousand mile powertrain warranty.

in any case..replacing your lift bolts is VERY easy..not hard at all, just takes a little time. thumbsup

if you already changed them..just change them again. it can't hurt.

but anyway, like the other people said--try hitting lift again with your engine warm. it also may help to reset ur ECU.

i'll do that when it's cooler..like 2morrow or thursday..it suppose to go down to the mid 80s...so i'll just reset my ECU and try it..if that still don't work, then i'll change them..

UPDATE: ok..just went outside and reset the ECU..took it for a drive, i feel just a lil kick..i'm running with my stock airbox now, before i had a tube with a filter..i can really hear lift kick in..now it doesn't sound loud, although it does give a lil bit of power..could this mean that one of the bolt is broken?? what would happen if one got broken? would it still kick in but less then if it weren't broken?? i think i need to take the cover off and find out for sure if it's broken or not..

good for you bro...glad to hear that your car isn't fucked...things like that are part of the reason I went with a GT, and not a GTS
