My steering wheel slightly shakes and pulls to the left above 75 MPH or so, so I decided to take my car to have the tires balanced.
I get a call 15 minutes after I took the car in and they told me that the right front rim is bent. Turns out there is a three inch portion on the inside of the rim where it meets the tire that is slightly bent. They didn't balance the tires since it wouldn't help.
Question is, will a wheel shop be able to fix the damage? I heard it would be like $75-100 to fix it, and was just wondering if it is worth it.

You could fix a bent wheel. The question is will the cost be lower than replacing the bent wheel? If there is any other damage to the wheel light scraps, curbed, chips, etc. you might just opt to get a new wheel or 4 different wheels if by chance in the future you might bend another due to a bad or weak design. What wheels do you have now, by the way?

I don't see why it can't be fixed, and if no one can do it, then I'll just bend it myself.

About a month or so ago, I was just leaving work, and going down the street that they are tearing up to build a new stadium at, going about 10 MPH, and hit a hugh dip. Sounded really bad, like my whole car hit the ground.

He was like "oh i hit a dip on the road down the street and it broke my rim so now the city is giving me a check for all 4 new rims!" So yeah its possible man but its up to you on what you want to do ! gl buddy!

I'd rather just get it fixed, and never go down that shitty street again.
