I was wondering i have seen lots of new celicas with shiny blue and red and such interiors. i was wondering how do you go about doing that, i have heard that you have to lay Fiberglass over the original interior, and then paint it, and i have heard that you just paint it. or else you have to put leather interior or else whatever other cloth over the original peice.

which one is true, and how do i go about gettting this done, i was wondering if anyone could tell me where the nearest place is to get this done, and or how much you would think it would be for my 91 celicas interior to be refinished. THANKS

Or you can take the center dash piece off, sand it down really good and put thin layers of paint on it. Then some clear coat.

You can do it yourself, it's simple.

Thats how i am doing it.

I painted my interior. Get this paint called Fusion by Krylon i think. Works wonders...No clear coat needed, no sanding, no priming just a couple coats of fusion and your good to go thumbsup

if you want to paint just the center dash--do as what was said above...u can use the fuzion paint but personally i'd sand it down & primer it--then go over with ordinary paint.

if you want to paint your whole entire dash (what is sounds like) you can Fiberglass it like you've heard..but it's usually easier just to sand the entire dash (removed) down with 300 grit sandpaper and then go over it with 1500 grit sandpaper..once you get it totally smooth you can primer it and then apply high heat paint (you'll want this because your cars dash will become VERY hot) and then apply high heat clearcoat to give it that glossy look thumbsup
