I can't seem to figure it out...

I took it to the local dealer, they say it's aftermarket (and thus, won't touch it from the warranty).

So I called the dealer I bought it from, they said they have a deal with the alarm company, and only they will work on it under warranty (sucks for me, since THAT dealer is about 6 hours away).

Anyway, they couldn't seem to tell me what model alarm I have, or really any useful info about it...

So, I went through and found the paper concerning the alarm.

It's from National Security, and it has the 'System 3000' spot circled (for the warranty/theft protection guarantee).

Soooo... I'm guessing I have a National Security, System 3000 alarm... Guessing wink
Problem is, I'm not SURE if that's the alarm I have, or where to find any info about it!

I think answered your question for yourself confused
Umm, either way, it doesn't sound like any brand of mobile security I've ever heard of. Have that shit yanked out and replaced with something you'll know something about!

Besides, if you can't get any info about it, AND it came with yyour used car...how do you know somebody else doesn't have the ability to arm/disarm it??? Unless you're really attached to this one, get a new one...Alpine, Clifford, Viper, Autostart, etc.

Yeah, I think I may have to do that, once I get some money...

It works, but it honks at the strangest times. Not beep beep, but Hooooooonnnnkkkk.

Sometimes it will just go one continuous honk until I put the key in the ignition...

I bought the car new, but the dealer had a non-factory alarm installed (so the other dealer won't work on it, only the dealer who installed it).

Wow, thats deep! You can tell your friends you have "National Security" in YOUR car. White House Connections? laughsilly

Most burgulars know how to disable alarms. Especially alarms with valet buttons. thumbsdown

No nothing alarms won't cut it. Get a Viper installed. At least they have user support.
