Whats new everyone? I havent posted in a while but I have come w/ a question. I am hooking up a power inverter to my car and i was wondering the steps needed, isaac if you have ne info or ne diagrams, would be much appreciate it. grin .

Neways, I no that you can cut the wires connected to the cables(as pictured below) then add extra wire and run it straight to the battery. This will in turn run down your battery and i would rather not have a switch to turn the power inverter on and off. Can anyone help me hook up inverter so that it will cut on/off everytime i turn the car on/off? Thanks

i would something like this on your fuse block.
install it on the cig lighter or radio fuse location.

How many amps does it draw? because that's makes a big difference as well.

these things can handle 10 amps.
