I am thinking of adding a Turbo to my 00 GT. I want to reinforce my engine, so just to run my 12lbs of boost or more every now and then. I am going to go with the SF Turbo kit. Can anyone recommend to me what cams, piston rods, and any other accessorcies I need for the Turbo, as weel to reinforce the engine. Thanks

What about the tranny, what is the max hp I can get before I have to start upgrading it? I mean I am throuwing on a stage one clutch and flywheel, but other then that, I am trying to minimize my expense there.

^^^ nah, that's 250 ft-lbs of torque thumbsup...and catcams only makes cams for the 1zz (GT)...ing-ing of japan makes race cams for the 2zz (GTS)

yeah...a couple of the Turbo guys on the other site broke their tranyy's from boosting too much. and c2gas, and the Turbo boys over in europe had their gears recast straight style rather than helical style to hold more boost...its nuts

I already planned on getting the pistons, big bore kit, and a stage 1 clutch, along with the valves, valve springs, and a flywheel. and cams, but I seem to not be able to find a cam kit. Anyone know of a website? What about axle's how much torque can they handle? And is it HP, or torque for the tranny, cause I have heard the stock tranny can hold up to around 300 hp

cams = JRPonline...search for 1zz-FE cams under the cams listings...they are very agressive cams from a company called catcams...catcams home website (english) is www.catcams.be [catcams.be] And the GT tranny can hold250 lb -ft of torque...any more torque than that will annihilate the tranny...horsepower is another story...its been proven to be 300 hp safe...but its the torque you have to worry about
