Never mind, I realized that the Mass Air Sensor was on top of the airbox. God only knows what I was trying to take off.

wow. okay the MAFS (mass air flow sensor is very crucial to your car, i don't think that it will start without it. just remove the stripped screw and replace it with one at you local home depot. and mount it in the hole provided in the new intake. but when you tighten the MAFS into the hole do not tighten to hard or it will break the arms of it off and you will be more screwed. read how to install in the "installs" forum i guess. Ok Don't want to confuse you more. I thought the mass air sensor was on part of the throttle assembly. I now realize it was on the top of the air box. Problem solved!
