Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Plz, Help i screwed up and need lighting fast!

I have an 02 GT. ok so i was hooking up my pillar gauges' lighting to my parking lights, and now the parking lights don't turn on. I think i blew a fuse but i can't locate the fuse for the parking lights. i looked for like an hour on the diagrams of the fuse boxes and am unable to find out where it is.

Ok so to my parking lights i have my reverse indiglo gauges hooked up as well, and now i was hooking up the lighting of my pillar gauges to it. thus i think the fuse wasn't able to handle all that load and blew out. so could some one help or tell me which one it is, perhaps give me a number in the fuse box.

Lastly should i put a bigger amperege fuse in their, like if there is a 20 amp fuse in their should i replace the blown fuse w/ a 30 amp instead. will that work? can i do that? so plz help, because i can't drive at night as i can't see what speed i'm going. PLZ, HELP! thnx alot!

so wut? you needed a bigger amp fuse?

No, you shouldn't need a bigger fuse.

Take each fuse out, one my one & check if it is burnt or not. The metal part between the poles on a blown fuse will not connect. When you find the one blown, replace it. If you don't figure out why it blew, however, it won't help.

no, the problem was that the bracket that holds the gauge in the gauge pod was touching the negative and the positive terminal at the same time, thus it kept shorting out.

also on another note could some one show me the location where the water temp sensor for an electrical gauge hooks up, or just tell me exactly where i will find it. i know this much that it hooks up to the engine block and that's it. a pic will be the most helpful. thnx
