as the topic says i'm hearing a starge noise after my shock and spring install. it sounds like a poping almost it only happends when i'm turning very fast or when I come to a complet stop fast. I have not gotten an aligenment yet. but I wil be doing that shortyly. The place I go to is closed today

anyone? oh and your our cars have bushings on ech spring in the front right ?

u cant really do alignment on a lowered car... If they do it will never be 100% accurate??? not sure if thats going to help the knocking noise... you might have cut ur bushings to much ????

cut them ? I didn't cut them, and when I got my car it had one bushing on the right side. I assumed there were Two to being with so I was going to go order a nother one on monday from the toyota dealership.

when you do the eibacj install it tells you to shave a bit off your factory bushings so Im not sure what springs you installed...

why would I need to cut them ? I noticed on my instrutions looks like it says something about bushings , but tits all messed up and I cant' read it .

to get your car to the specified lowered height.. its no big deal if you didnt...prob have a softer ride then wink

I had the same problem when I installed my springs. It is the metal rod on the front shocks with a rubber greeese boot on each end. You have to make sure that is all the way tight. Use an allan wrench on the back part of it to hold it from spinning. Once this is tight you wont have any problems. It is only in the fronts so don't even bother looking at the back ones.

I took them off and reinstalled everything and they work just fine . smile just had to make sure everything was lined up .
