Just cut some wires from the battery or ECU and then splice them back together.

few ways to do it.unplug the wire of the battery, remove a fuse, reset it by obd computer, or there should be an easier way described in the manual. if you are afraid to unhook the battery to reset bcz you wanna lose the radio and all programmed stuffs, then buy that thing that goes in ur cig lighter place and saves everything in it. after unhooking and hooking ur battery up, that will put the info back in ur system and you wont lose anything. it doesnt function that way exactly but thats wut it does. you keep it in ur lighter when moving the cable and putting it back on. the thing only costs less than 5$

yeah, you can pull a certain fuse and it reset ur ecu w/out losing ur radio presets and not having to reset your clock.

really the fastest way is to just unhook your negative battery terminal for a few min...resetting ur radio presets and your clock takes 2 min max.

^^ stefanoc, I could be wrong but I think resetting it by OBD-II computer just clears the DTC codes but does not reset the fuel and ignition maps. You have to "unhook" or "pull" to do that. I have an OBD-II scanner and this is how I believe it operates.

well pulling the negative wire off the battery is a pain because my alarm will go off when I put it back on. O the reason I'm asking is because my O2 sensors in my exhaust have gone bad. I just want to keep reseting the ECU so I won't start running rich

Pull the 15 amp EFI fuse located under the hood in the fuse box on the drivers side. Leave it out for a few minutes and replace.
