CAI question

Aight, I got an Injen CAI installed a while ago. The filter was installed right in front of my driver side wheel behind the wheel well. My question is if that is the best place to have the filter?? It looks like not much air can get into that. Especially since it's right behind the bumper. What can I do?? is there a better place to put it or is there something I can remove to allow more air to flow to it?? Thanks in advance for all replies.

okay, I understand that that's where it's supposed to be, but does that really allow for a lot of air to get in?? Shouldn't there be more openings around it to allow more air?? isn't it kind of limited because it's right behind the front bumper which is blocking the air from getting through?
