dry your car when you're done. Just throw an old towel into the car and wipe down the windows right after you wash.

use ammonia window cleaner with type 00 steel wool and a good towel or whatever for the windows.
you can also clay bar your windows.

I use a 50 cent white towel product that I buy at the car wash. It's the same stuff when the nurse rubs your arm before a shot. I clean the windows, lights, and mirrors w/it. The thing is it may leave a residue because of the contaminats already left on your windows. What I do is I use that pad to clean the window and a specified microfibre window towel to clean off the residue. Microfibre is the key word and so is window. You will never go back to anything else. 100X better than windex, other towels, and only take 5 min. all windows, lights, and mirrors.

i also use rain x in all the exterior windows, and to clean them, i also use a microfiber towel for the inside with just water, i can't use ammonia with tinted windows, they could get damage.

Use stoner's invisible glass cleaner. Can be found in the auto section at walmart and doesnt have ammonia so its tint safe.
