use a philips screwdriver to remove the center console, then just turn the piece upside down and press the clips IN and remove the door... you can throw away the door because its useless if you are puttin a video screen there.

now you need to get some fiberglass and putty and have the center area professionaly molded to fit your new video screen.

paint your modified piece and then install your screen all the electronics of hooking the audio to your sound system and the video to your players.

you're all done thumbsup

the only problem with this setup is that is collects lots of dust because of the angle its at... also, you cannot adjust the angle if the sun is reflecting on your screen - you will just have to part your car so that your don't get a glare... or so the screen isn't sitting directly in the sun when its parked

something like this also tells theives that you have money and can easily replace this if/when they break into your car to "borrow" it.

I'm suggesting that you would be much happier with a retractable unit for less then half the costs and half the troubles...

the flip out kind are nice cause then they are hidden and go back in...I would have a really good security system on my car.

To me it all depends on whether your car will be used for shows or daily commuting. A molded screen would get points in the show, but versatility it lacks. A flip out is more of a daily driver, for security reasons that were already mentioned.
