I was just wondering if anyone here has tryed to put maybe a new flywheel on their automatic transmission to have it shift faster? I'm just trying to think of different ways that I can have my car shift faster...if anyone has done this could you maybe help me out with some info on what you used and what Performance gains you got from it. I'm going to call up to a Performance shop sometime this week and ask them some questions about it and see what they have to say. But...I'm asking about this because I'm saving up for a Turbo and I just think that the tranny could use some upgrades along with the Turbo...

I'm prepping for a Turbo as well - tranny upgrades for an auto include but are not limited to:

- valve body upgrade
- torque converter
- tranny cooler

try level10 for the first two and any good Turbo kit will have the latter...

Thanks man...I've been looking at this Turbo kit right here if you guys want to take a look at it...

Does anyone have any comments about this Turbo (http://www.dasports.net/) I ran across it the other day and it's starting to look really promising...

no problem... yeah, I've been following the Turbo kit you linked for quite some time - actually that's kinda the problem. I don't believe a dyno has been posted as of yet to prove hp gains. I would suggest either c2gas or SF...

do a search in here for DA Turbos...
if i remember right there are not a lot of kind words towards those guys thumbsdown

like sultan said, C2gas of SF would be the best company to choose from. maybe even XS Turbos also.

Cool cool guys... smile...thanks for the heads up...I'm just not trying to rush into anything...I want to like have everything planned out and layed out so I know exactly what I'm getting and everything...so thanks for everything Simple and Sultan.

I was checking into the SF Turbo and that seemed to be about the same power as the DA Turbo. I think both of them were pushing out 6psi (I believe) but I don't know if they are made differently or what. But I've been hearing ALOT of good stuff about the SF Turbo, and I think that's the only other one that I can get for the VVT-i, so I guess I'll look into definately getting that one.

But Sultan you said that you were preparing for a Turbo. What have you done in preparation for it?
