I've been thinking about this question too. I want to get a nice sound system, but I don't want to sacrifice trunk space. I was thinking of mounting an amp on the back of one of the rear seats and the sub on the back of the other seat. That way, I can flip down the seat and really rock out. Has anybody done this yet? Pics out there? What does everyone think and can it be done?

I was thinkin of that same thing like last week and i was wondering if that little plastic ...thing would get in the way (the thing that's in the trunk)

I wish i had a pic to show you what I did. I cut a board to have rounded ends, and just the right size to fit down in the spare tire. So the board sits inside the bottom of the spare tire, amp is mounted to the board. If i ever need the tire, i can just pull out the board. The amp has a couple inches of clearence, so it doesnt get too hot.
The amp is never in the way, and you never see it just looking in.
