I have a 2000 GT. What size rims/tires can I put on it?

Also, how do I go about dropping the car to make it look better?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

you can put up to 19s on your car--but personally i wouldn't go any higher than 18.

the typical aftermaket WIDTH of wheels is 7.5 inches and this works well with the celica. you can go a bit wider or thinner if you want though.

if you buy 18s, you most likely want a 40 series profile tire (225/40/18 for example) with 17s a 45 series works good (225/45/18)

as far as dropping your car is concerned you can do a few things.

the most common way is springs and shocks. tein, eibach, and hks are very good makers of springs for the celica.

you can get coilovers--more expensive but considerred better by most people for the ride comfort.

air bags--mostly a show mod and i don't recommend it unless you plan on having a show-worthy car.

Dammit, you beat me to it! Oh well heres my .02...

There are many ways to lower your car depending on how you want it done. If price is an issue then you can get some KYB or Tokico shocks with some springs. There are tons of springs, choose the one that has the drop you want. Check out the Reviews section for more information on the springs. If you want an all out suspension kit, I would go with Hotchkis TVS stage 2 or 3, but the are price the stage 2 will run some where around $1100 and the stage 3 will run about $2400.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!
