space wise its not to bad. I can still get to the spare tire and jack so i cant complain.

Also it all lights up with red neons and night and looks really sick with the amps digital readout of temp. or volts

I dont think so. It doesnt matter for me personally. I am under 18 and have 2 speeding tickets. One more license is suspended for atleast a year and my dad is gonna sell my car. So im at the end of the line.

very clean - only problem I foresee would be a lack of trunk space...

12 inch w6v2, alpine MRD-M501 amp for the sub, and alpine mrv-f340 for the components. Also the neons to light it up.

That'a a pretty big box for one sub. But custom looks good.
thumbsup

Mine is a prefab, I use the hooks in the trunk to strap it down. I like to be able to hit the button on the tie downs & move it out of the way when I need the trunk space.

I wish I could have a Fiberglass or carbon fibre box built. The MDF board makes the box heavy. Its over hundred pounds with subs & amp attached.

The way the box is built though is so nice. I have half the rattles i used to with my prefab box. And this setup doesnt fly across the trunk like my old prefab did lol. And the W6 is so deep it needed a big box.

Does everyone's trunk have those eyelettes in them? I used a heavy duty ratcheting tie down strap to go from one eye, over the box to the other eye. Its down solid & that's important for the low bass. Most of your low bass is transferred through the frame of the car.

Should have gone with the W7. Way better then the W6V2. I have a 12W7 and a JL 1000/1. Its crazy loud.

Dude its crazy loud as it is. Honestly the other day i rode with it about 1/2 way up for 20 minutes. I got out and was so disoriented. I couldnt walk straight and couldnt hear anything for another 30 minutes. I admit i like bass but im not a bass freak like some people. As long as it accents th music nicely it gets a thumbsup imo.

look at my old box for lack of trunk space... i had only 5 inches on the front, and a triangular space on the front (behind the back seat)

I had a shop do it. There is no way i could have made it all form fit like that. Also to get the JL warranty the box has to be approved by a JL dealer. Trust me if i made a box it would not be approved. It would probably fall apart on the first bass hit. grin
