how do you put a hood pin on a carbon fiber hood? do they come with a place for them or do you have to drill? thanks.

Check out this link here from the "Install" section of the site. Hood Pin Install although I'd recommend having a shop take care of it as you're drilling into your expensive Carbon Fiber hood. It shouldn't take a shop too long, mine is charging me about $40 to install mine.

yeah, have a shop drill the hood... it'll be inexpensive as well as much safer in the long run as you'll be protecting your investment

yeah you definitly need them
if you have money take it to the shop, they should know what they are doing and if they fuck up they should pay for it. so you odn't have to.
its kinda pain to install hoodpins, you have to find the right place and drill the hole with dremel, they are the best for this kind of job.

I've had the VIS Invader hood on for six months driving all kinds of speed and have never felt like I NEEDED them. My hood fits very well and latches well too, but like everyone on this site will say, "better safe than sorry". I'm getting mine for a few reasons...their a nice looking accessory to your hood (unless you buy shitty ones), complete peace of mind (if the hood DID come off it could, or could cause you to hurt somebody else on the road. They're cheap in comparison to the hood, also. Yes, I AM the same person that said hood pins are or little bitches a month ago grin...
