Sony is shit if you buy their bottom end stuff. Same with Alpine, they sell bottom end shit for cheap. My Sony M770 is kick ass. Built in digital cross overs for each preout, digital eq & all kindsa high quality features and components.

im a newb when it comes to audio. but putting a new deck in well change the sound of ur whole stero even if stock?
I was chatting at a stero store about a system, & since I don't usually have it REALLY REALLY loud & just wanted something a bit more, he suggested I change the head first. Leave everything stock, change the head & see where that takes you. Then decide where to go from there. Sounds like a good place to start.
