the size and how to take out the 2 lights behind the ac controls?

^^ you can't.

their glued in and toyota does NOT make any replacement lights. you have to use bulb covers or fluerescent tape.

if you do take one of the bulbs out, (like i said toyota doesnt make replacment ones) you have to buy the whole assembly again--which will usually run you about $150-$200

Why would you want to take them out? You wouldn't be able to see without them at night. Either change the bulb covers or get plastic stuff they use for colored stage lighting. happywink

When I was installing my head unit I cut the dimmer wire and lost the ac lights anyways. I havent had a problem without them...theres only like 10 options for it. Plus when i got my painted center concolse i smoothed out the ac controls part.

Crap I didn't know that, I took mine out and I guess i broke one. I just put a neon blue tube back there. idunno

yeah, you can take them out and replace them with small cathodes.
