Well my car died last night and it turns out the alternators bad. So will the dealership fix this under warranty?? Im gonna take it in tomorrow morning. Im so pissed that this happened. My car only has like 43,000 miles on it.

if they don't, i have my stock alternator.. . and ill sell it to you. . .

if warranty doesn't cover it, you can probably change it yourself. Even Pep Boys probably carrys alternators for celicas grin Good Luck thumbsup

i dont know why they wouldnt cover it. If possible pulling out your sub might not be a bad idea just incase.

That's what I was going to say. You don't want them to know you have an amp, it will surely void your warrantee.

Wow you really think they'd bitch about that??? I mean I know they're dicks but still. That hardly draws any power from the car. Oh and I already got a quote of like 300 bucks to replace it but I wanted to see if I could get it fixed under warranty first.

Some cheaper less efficient amps actually suck the most. They can draw 60 to 100 amps, which is enough to fry a weak alternator. They see amps & they automatically assume its the cause.
