I'm trying to install my aftermarket cd,mp3 player into my 2000 celica gts... The thing is... the wiring harness doesn't match my car... I went to best buy and all other audio shops. They keep giving me a harness that says toyota 89 and up. But it still doesn't match to the stock one in my celica. FOr those of you who knows more about it or has been through it, is there a wiring harness for the celica 2000 up? or does the dealership have them?... If somebody could help me I'd appreciate it.

How does other people do it?... the people at the audio shops told me that's all they have. The wiring harness they gave me have two attachments and the celica..00and up I think... has only one and it doesn't even match either one. Hopefully someone can tell me there's an adapter or some sort...:P

The harness they gave you is correct...Only thing is if you have a factory amp you have to get the wires at the amp. GTS has a premium system that is amplified. If you had a GT the harness you have will fit just fine. Mine did and I have the same harness you have. Is it a Metra brand harness?

i work at Circuit city, and i'm putting in a alpine iva-d300 and my manager just told me to hardwire everything in. Pain in the ass.

Hard wiring = better sound qulity too if you use good wiring. So it is worth it.
