Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Fiberglass front bumper

I'm thinking of getting the Buddy club 2 kit, but the front bumper is made of "hand layed fiberglass". How strong is this?? If a rock hits it will it crack or will it take a lot more to damage it???

The fiberglass bumpers are pretty strong nowaday. They would withstand the "normal" rock hits. But, if you jump a curve or something, then anything could happen. I had a fiberglass bumper on my old del sol. I scrapped the crap out of the bottom, but it never cracked.

yeah, I think its hot! I almost bought the veilside invader 6, then I saw the BC2 and just could not get over how smooth and clean it looks.

This is only after a few months - 2 years later, there are plenty more scratches but still nothing is broken

I don't think I could stand all those scratches...I am a perfect kid...has to look clean and nice...I hate scratches! ROAR.

i like the bc2 alot, too...i'm stuck between that and r2. you guys have ne suggestions? it's gonna b black and i'm going for kindof a descreet clean look so i dont attract too many cops, but i still want it to b sporty...ya know? also, i'm worried about ground clearance. the roads around here are horrible...alot of railroad tracks and steep ramps.

I would like to see the BC 2 on a black celica...soo sweet. That bumper does look huge though on it...isaac do you have any knowledge of how big the BC 2 front is? Like is it the size of the blitz?
