Guys, I need some help in making my decision here. I'm plan on getting a set of wheels/tires. Debating in 17 or 18, I know 18 will slow down the Performance.

I saw a deal for 18"w/ tires for 970 shipped, Konig Holes, weight about 21.something each.

On the other hand, i can get tenzo r for 17" w/ tires for $900, and i think they wait about 19 pounds.

What would you do???? The weight difference on those two wheels is about, maybe 2 pound each? Does those 10 to 15 pounds make such different in Performance.
Do you think 21 pounds wheel is heavy?
OH yea, which one you will go for? the 18 or the 17 deal?

Get the 18's. They will look much better and are a better brand than Tenzo R, which is like APC, Ractive, OBX. Tenzo R rims are not good quality. puke thumbsdown

18's baby. imo you need to look good all the time, and you only need to be fast some of the time.

18's, you can only go as fast as the speed limit. But if you are gonna get into racing, 15's.

if you wanna go racing...then get some GT stock rims on or aftermarket 15s"

I'd go with 18s"

He's saying what's the point of having lighter weight rims when you can't really use them for what they're meant for with a daily driver.

They're both flabby for Performance. Nothing spectacular about a 17" 19 LBS. wheel. Actually that stinks. You would be better with the 18's if questioning those weights. I base my opinion just on the look factor alone, out weighing the non-performance gain. Stick with your stock wheels or something lighter if looking Performance.
