So how good are their extended warranty?

The Celica has 55K and I have extended warranty on it.

So if I have a few problems with the car, like the timing belt and rattling coming either from the engine bay or near the speedometer, can I just bring the car in?

Alex

Yes. If it is something like if they have to tear down the tranny or stuff like that, they will tell you that they will charge $XXXX amount of money and if it is covered under warranty then all you have to do is pay the deductable. Well, that was my case. But take it in and see what they say.

engine and tranny are only covered. belt tensioner, lift bolts, and all the other stuffs arent covered. but the most expensive stuff is covered. its better than having nothing at all

Yeah I have extenbded and all I pay is a $50 deductible. Not bad if the problem is big, but if its just some leak or so then $50 isn't too apealing.
