I want a 99 Leblanc Caroline now...anyone got a million to spare? Heck, I'll just lighten my celica to 1700 lbs, do some major engine building and put a T3/T4 Turbo in and save close to a million. That Leblanc looks like it's all race car anyway and not a luxury cruiser.

Well yeah, not too many luxury four bangers around that can go that fast.

That's basically as fast as an F1 car except it has a closed body for the driver.

I'd like to see the Turbo I4 Leblanc Caroline taking on the supercharged V8s in Nascar...road race or a 200 lap oval. That'd be funny to say the least. 8 banger = 4 cylinders too many and a waste of gas.

for Turbo, probably evo or sti, and some Turbo engines

That's the beauty of the twin-turbo on one tough block and a price tag that qualifies it as an exotic.

STI isn't a straight 4.

the question posed was for production cars...but yeah that's true with the NORAD, last I heard was the 2.7 L Tacoma 4 cylinder (3RZ). My Avatar is the NORAD celica concept BTW.

The Mitsu Evo is Inline 4. Probably the fastest production inline 4 available.

This is weird, I was talking about a subject relating to this the other day. Apparently there's a guy that built 4-cylindar drag cars whose trap speed in the 1/4 was around 200 miles an hour. He was the fastest man in the world for 8 years until somebody knocked him out of that title. I'll call to get that guy's name again.
