what would it cost to do this

if I got 2 trd exhausts that add about 14 hp each then i'd have 28 hp gained *drooling* but would any power be lost anywhere making less then 28 hp?

thats my car, you gotta get a TRD exhaust obviously and i had to find an extra TRD exhaust tip which isn't easy because they don't sell them so you gotta find someone who chopped it off, then i took it to a shop by my house and he did custom piping from the muffler back for about $150-175, where are you at in PA? if you're anywhere near scranton, i'll give you the number of where i got it done

correct me if i'm wrong but its not considerd a tru dual exhuast system unless it come off the engine that way like v8's do its set up that way i mean yes there 2 exhaust but come from the engine in one then splits into 2 so that type of gain wouldn't be achived

yea, it's just for the look, maybe top end will improve a little.

this sort of setup is more of a tip tip than anything else.

Looks nice none the less. Atleast it fills up that extra exhaust thing on his bumper! thumbsup

I've don't think i ever noticed that the Kam. kit is a dual exhuast. I was goin to get it but im not sure it would look good with my single exhuast anymore frown Does anybody have pics of there Kam. kit with a single exhuast?

or just do what I might do get headers and a "y" pipe and run down both sides or what have you.. This giving you sound of 2 exhausts and the actuall work..may not be 1 exhaust's hp x2 but it will be something...

ya man sorry to burst ur bubble, but you dont get 28 hp from dual exhaust, because if you did, i think nearly every person on this forum would have it. ahah.

yeah its not a true dual exhaust, its split after the muffler, it is a lot louder and deeper than the single TRD, and about the Y pipe after the headers and running straight pipes, i'm sure that could work in theory but it might be really tough to do because there's not a lot of room under there to fit it

oh, and thanks for the compliments on the car thumbsup

I personally don't like the look of dual exhaust on the celica..
