I paid 15 Grand withn the trade in.
I wish I could have gotten more because the Celica only had 7K on it.

geezum..only 7k miles??

glad you got the honda s2k..it really is the better car and no one here could really argue against that..but with such little mileage on ur celica you got ripped with the trade.

i not only want a Z but im getting one in december smile smile

its not too expensive if you look at the different trims because all of them have the same engine and thats mainly what most are looking for when getting the Z

mine will come out to 29K for the enthusiast trim thumbsup

One thing that amazed me is how primative the interior on those S2000's are. Start looking around at other sports cars and it becomes apparent that Toyota really has awesome ergonomics.

I even sat in a Z06 on the show room floor, looked at the price tag & the interior is complete crap.

Come it's an auto Gt that was trade in for an S2000. Of course the trade is was going to be low. That's one of the worst Celicas there is regardless. You my brother or sister just jumped up into the world of a better car, more aftermarket support, and more money. What year was the Honda? Good luck on everything. I love the S2000 by the way. Test drive one people and you won't want to get back in your Celica.

it is a 2004
and I will post pics as soon as I find my camera.

Th Celica only had 7K on it because I bought it new and only had it for about 2 or three months.

I am verry pleased with my trade in becaus the S2000 and the Celica don't even compare. I mean a 240hp 4cylinder, who can beat that and those are factory numbers. The car runs mid 13's to low 14's stock and the tranny is built like a rock so it can handle tremendous power with very few upgrades to it.

Don't get me wrong the celica look way fast but it ran like low 17's stock.

mid 13's beats low 17's any day in my book!

congrat, you are gonna love your new car...
i think webdiva did the same thing, she trade in her gt for s2k and she loves it. oh and did you get 05 or older model?
new s2k redlines lower, but it has more torque. either way its better than celica.

congratulations. but ur trade in price wasnt too bad man. think about it this way.
for a used gt, they paid 15,000, now they will sell it for 16,000 plus taxes. the cost of the car is gonna be 18 out the door. same as a new one i assume.
how much did you get the s2000 for? 32K?

The car had 122 miles on it when I bought it (new). But has 3K on it two weeks later.

Belive it or not my insurance went down about 300 dollars (6 months)it wen from 740 to about 450

You can't make any power with the F20C without major modification. Bolt-ons and tuning will get you less than 10WHP. It's very difficult to make big power with the S2000 without forced induction or ITBs. But good luck, the S2000 is an amazing car. grin

the 2004 s2k have lower redline. if you have the same redline (9k) as the previous models, than you might not have the 2004 model. the 2004 s2k's are really nice. there are a lot of rumors going around saying that the 2004 model has more hp as well as more torque. independant test has shown that the 2004 s2k accelerates considerably faster than the previous models. aproximatly .3 secons faster in the 1/4 mile than the previous models. if you have the 2004 s2k, congradulations, i was going to get one too but it didn't happen. enjoy your new car...

yeah, it's weird how you think you'd have to pay higher for a faster car, but the amount you pay is largely based off of (shit i forgot what it's called), and i assume just like the z, the s2k has a higher rating than the celica which sux
