im sure they will. They will still have to produce celica parts for many years to come for the celicas still under warranty and for the current celicas that will need to be serviced and repaired many years on down the road.

I talked to the guy at the dealership a few days ago about the situation of them stopping the celica. He said it's not a problem because there is a law that parts have to be made for 10 years after the last one rolls off the assembly line. I don't know if he is right but it has to be at least a certain amount of years. I would imagine that aftermarket companies will produce as long as there is a demand and there should be a demand for at least a few years.

^ as for the TRD exhaust, since that is an aftermarket part it doesn't have to be made for 10 years, but OEM parts do.

ditto. only oem parts have to be made.

since the celia is not a popular model, i would venture to GUESS that trd would not continue to make it's exhaust.

in the models of popularity, such as the 5th and 6th gen honda civics..there are still very many aftermarket parts being made for these vehicles thumbsup

^^ probably so.

why does it matter though? retailers will most likely still be carrying them for a couple of more years after they do stop making them anyway just from keeping it stocked thumbsup

^^ very true, but I think I'm going to get all the TRD mods that I want for my car first before the other things.

I believe TRD still carries parts for the '99 Celica (quickshifter, air filter, and springs - but I don't know if there were more parts that are just out of stock...) so we may have more time than we think. However, something as popular as the TRD exhaust won't last too long after it's discontinued, so definitely the sooner you buy it the better.

I really would like to get this exhaust also. When do you think they will stop making it? My mom said she's buy it for me for my birthday in March? Will they still be being made then?

I'm pretty sure TRD will continue to make exhausts. There are ppl out there waiting to mod their Scion tCs. Trust me, keep the demand and they'll keep going. I wouldn't worry about it.

That's what I thought. I'm just saying, they will still have some parts for our cars for several years even though they stopped making them.

As for exhausts, doesn't TRD make each exhaust specifically for each vehicle? (i.e. scion exhaust does not fit on celica)
