If you were going to buy one which would you buy. The car would be HIGHLY modified. I sure everyone is thinking STi but if you are gonna almost upgrade everything whats the point of spending an extra couple grand on parts your just gonna dump. Is there really anything the STi has that the WRX couldn't aquire in the aftermarket? So would you want the WRX or the STi.

Well, the STI Turbo is already simply one of the best damn Turbos you could ever get for that car, there's no reason to modify it.

Even if you're changing out everything on the entire car, it's best to start with the sti base.

no doubt the STi, it has the 3.0 instead of the 2.5 doesn't it? plus much better suspension, i think it's almost a bargain for the extras

if you are ging to be changing everything or highly modding it you will most likely want the STi only for its 2.5 liter engine

i'd start with STi simply because of the features it has compared to the WRX...even if you're gonna dump a lot, it still has shit the WRX doesn't.

if you have money get STI
But if you want a car that you want to fix up for fun, get WRX.
I think WRX is better way to go since, all the Sti looks the same, if you are going to change anything, then there is no point of getting sti.

Same time wrx offers same look and good Performance. With all wheel drive. Almost same interior. for 8000 dollar less, i would definitly go with wrx.
plus your insurance will be cheaper.

But when i was at autoX, and i talk to lot of people about their STI and all of them said that they want to sell their STI and get EVO8, they said its actually handles a lot better. And wait til evo8 MR comes out, its going to have 345 hp maybe US spec will be 291 hp. And its got much better feature than STI and 12's car.
