Making it is a very involved process which includes a hyperbarric oven, not something done at home. The raw materials are not readily available to the retail market. It would be fun though. Remake the unibody of the celi & all the body panels.

Nope. I learned about it watching the making of the McLaren F1 which is a complete carbon fibre unibody. Even the rear suspension bolts directly to the motor. Awesome technology.

selectproducts.com has the weave, resin, even laminated sheets aleady made...and a few videos on how to do it...its no that bad...a buddy of mine got some stuff from them and made a custom sub enclosure for two JL audio 13W7's!!!!!

That's cosmetic carbon fibre, has about the same strength as fibre glass.

Cosmetic carbon fibre  it's just as brittle as Fiberglass too, cracks real well
