- Stoptech Slotted Rotors
- Upgraded Trunk Shocks

...the rotors are the key component of my brake upgrade. TRD brake pads and SSBL's round out the package. Also, recently installing the RMM Carbon Fiber race wing put a lot of added weight on the trunk. Therefore I opted for new shocks which were custom made by c2gas (same guy that makes the Turbos and lambo door conversion). They are apparently 150% stronger than stock and should handle the extra load easily...

I've been trying to get them at a discount somewhere but finally gave up waiting... Ordered from their website:

they want too much money for them, I was hoping you'd found a place to get them cheaper.

$90 a rotor is steep when you can get an OEM style for $20

Awesome mods, can't wait to see them installed and hear how you like them. thumbsup

I was looking at some EBC rotors (at tirerack.com) that run about the same price as those stoptechs: the EBCs are $186 for the pair.

Who cares the age and the employment history. I've heard some s**t in my day. "wink wink" I tell some s**t. Who cares where the funds are coming in or if the crapo flys. I'm only saying this because this individual is doing the Celica right and one of the few here. Keep it up, I'm loving every package you get and have to install. Do it right. Your on the right track so far.

thanks Evan - I'll post a review after they're on... by the way, what's the word on those EBC rotors? How's the quality, etc compared to Stoptech, Rotora, and the others?

lol, I was not trying to attack in any way when I asked regarding the funds and etc. Didn't mean it like that, so yeah, just forget I asked.

But yeah, what is the status? Any pics of everything installed?

I myself know that and I wasn't trying to be harsh to you about it. My reply sounds a little rough. I'm sure no one thinks you're attacking either because your not. It was just a general comment. I love the work again Sultan keep it coming.

I was kinda hoping someone else could chime in on these. I've never heard of anyone with EBC rotors, although their pads have a good reputation.
