i got out of a 290 day suspension today. i only need to serve 20 days. this is how it happened. this is my third speeding ticket and i have 90 days + 20 days on my file.(that means i need to serve it if i violate another offence). so the hearing today was to add the 90 and 20 to my 180 day suspension making a 290 day suspension. i go in there the guy is an asshole. he reviews my record and then without me saying a word that i only have a 20 day suspension. that there was a ruling change and the state of n.h. messed up on my 90 day suspension and they were out of time to get me for the 180 (4th offence) so i only got 20.

i know this might sound confusing to all, and truthfully i don't understand either, but i'm getting my lisence back on august 4th. i didn't even say a word to argue my case. it was weird but awsome!

Cool. But who needs a license anyway?

Like Homer when he starts the car without his drivers license ... "its a miracle!".

I lost mine for a year, then 30 days & then another 30 days. When I went for the interview at the DMV to discuss my driving record the WOMAN (Substitute word with something nasty) asked me how I got through the year without my license. I replied "I drove"; she was was really PO'd.

Dude...I'm serious about this...you really need to get Pre-paid Legal. It works for me and everyone I talk to. It doesn't matter what state you're in. All of your speeding tickets become parking tickets.

Congrats from one "inmate" to another. My former lawyer who was once before that a State Police Officer, that I paid my left arm to and also a close neighbor, couldn't get me off because this local cop was the biggest "fill in the blank" that wouldn't budge. The prosecutor was in for a wreckless, but the local cop said no way. So I paid my time and fines and insurance that I'm still paying. The girl that was next to me in the same boat had this pre-paid legal was in a world of s**t because of him. Of course these weren't only speeding tickets, but who cares. Good luck in the future.

Actually I'm planning on being an attorney and having attorney friends so I won't need Pre-paid Legal in the future. Thanks anyway. thumbsup

Actually I was replying to the initial post not really you. I would like to say, If in the future you pass the bar in NJ I'm sure I'll be calling upon your services in the future, but I'm covered for now. Good luck to you also in the future.
