Ive noticed a few members here have two toned colored Steering wheels, and i was wondering did this come as an option, was it sprayed or how did it come out like that. i personally dont have a 7th gen but i would wanna do that to my 5th gen.

Mine came that way as part of a package offered in Canada. I know Billy (VSGTS) had his professionally dyed red. Check out SupraStore.com and they sell two toned TRD steering wheels but they run about $800USD a pop eek

I guess if it's the stock GT wheel that's made out of plastic, maybe it wouldn't hurt, but even a stock GT wheel wouldn't be cheap to replace if you f'd up. I'd still prefer to dye it before I sprayed it, you're talking about something that gets rubbed, sweated on, and sunlight too, all of those things would probably wear any paint down pretty quick.

i have a 5th gen st and its like plastic/vinyl, so iwas thinkin the paint would be ok, but like you said it'll wear, but im not sure what to do to keep it from wearing

i was thinking about only doing the part where it says celica right in the middle where the air bag is behind.
