Refer to your local yellow pages and call up some machining shops. Ask if they have "heat wrap" or if they know where to get some.

My friend gave me a 25 ft roll of heat wrap. I was thinking about this the other day: If you wrap the intake manifold and intake tube with it, ofcourse it will keep the heat out for a while. Over a certain amount of time, they will heat up also, and the wrap will retain the heat right? That would not be good. Any info appreciated.

my bad, lack of sleep screwed up my grammar lol frown and edit time ran out on my earlier post. i meant to say injen's piping DOES NOT have heat retention, so the wrap is not necessary for it. rice

it's not tape! it's like a fiber woven strip. it's cloth! nothing adhesive!

how do you keep the heat wrap so it stays on?
like at the ends of the wrap when you're done wrapping the intake/etc, do you use clips to keep the ends from hanging?
