Well other than getting new shocks & springs plus new rims & tires and Bat's overlay kit, which should I get? Not so much asking approval.. just multiple opinions.. and prices are Canadian funds.

Show: Kaminari body kit ($1650 + paint & install - unknown at this moment)

Go: TRD exhaust ($1076,) Blitz LM S-Ram ($350 or so + K&N filter $60ish,) and maybe something else?

I definitely like the Kami' kit a ton but the downside is the price and the new nose design will be gone, plus it adds extra weight but I don't race on the track anyways..or yet at least.. although I did think about just getting the side skirts but then the car may look uneven.

Oh yeah, I would go with a different Intake. My Blitz Intake has been buggy the last month...three CEL's in the last month. If you dont mind having to clean the MAF every other week, then you wont mind the Blitz Intake.

True.. after this chunk of modding I probably won't do much if anything for a good year I imagine.

But would it look unbalanced if I had just the Kam' side skirts put on? As I said, I wouldn't mind keeping the new nose since it shows how new my car is compared to other 7th. gens.

Hm, really? There are a bunch of guys locally who have the Blitz LM and have never had a CEL problem nor any other problem, some have had the CEL problem with various CAI's though. Plus Blitz LM (other than the SUS) gives the best gains for SRAM's out there.

The Blitz Intake was problem free for the firs couple of months...it's only been in the last month that it's been giving me the CEL.

Why would you want to show off that you have the newer celica.. the 2000 has the higher fuel cut off, better 6spd ( from the Performance point of veiw), ohh and it doesn't have the kill joy rev limiter so you can't do burn outs... that said go for go... form follows function not the other way around.

The Kam kit is nice...you can probly pick up something a little different for the same price if not cheaper though. Have you checked out the Bomex kit? Not too many Celicas out here have that anyways. You can also pick up a TRD Exhaust from the US for cheaper than you would be able to purchase one here in Canada even after shipping, currency conversion, etc.

If you have an Auto go for show.
If its manual..make it go.

Sara.. manual! I have only ever driven and owned manuals car *shudders at the thought of auto.*

Stephan: I can actually get the TRD exhaust cheaper from the US? That is good to know.. I think the local Celica club here just gets theirs locally because we know someone who is the son of a Toyota dealership (actually it's the dealership I bought my mom's Celica from) and we get a 10% discount off it, which makes it $900 before tax. I'll look into the Bomex kit just to see what it looks like..

As for the whole fuel cut-off and rev limiter change through the years well I haven't really done my homework on that.. either way, as I currently drive and even when I do street racing or just open up on backroads I don't ever go higher than 7000rpm and even then that's rare.
