Basicly I was driving home from the lake to go to work, and I guess a cop came out of no where and clocked me. Funny thing was my radar detector didn't even go off, which has NEVER happened before.

Was actually doing 30 over, but he lowered it to 15 over.

I really wasn't even paying attention to my speed, just a wide open country road.

Maybe time to invest in Valentine 1 thumbsup

Does 1 ticket affect insurance?

Yeah, especially since going 15 over is a lot & if you're still a minro, you just got owned.

As long as you don't get points shouldnt really affect your insurance.

read the fine print on the back of the ticket. Some states allow you to take a defensive driving class and they clear the ticket. You are only allowed to do that once every 12 months though. Yes it will affect insurance, but if you get it cleared it won't. The DD class I took was taught by a comedian!! You can rent a tape at blockbuster too.

you most likely have the option to go to driving school and pay the ticket

that way you have no record of the accident and insurance will have no need to know
