i had an CAI once..work fine, no CEL...but just like all other Intake it have that hesitant or bogging thing where when you floor the pedal it won't kick in until 1 or 2 seconds later...but it still sound good..wat used to be CAI now i turn it into shortram...if you don't have to worry about smog test and carb legal shit then you should pm easy_c and buy the TPR Intake for $150 + shipping..

good Intakes vary a lot from bad ones. EBAY Intake's will probly have the MAF senser in a bad position, resulting in an incorrect air reading, making you run either rich or lean resulting in less HP.
keep saving your money untill you can afford top quality products. i get only 1-2 mod's a year, thats bacause i dont want to buy cheep stuff.

yea...yea I know EBAY ain't t best place to buy stuff!
And it was not easy at all to fit that thing and do it he right way with no CEL or whatever!!!!! But it is working now and it is not bad at all...there is no bad MAF sensor bad positioning(it should be upside down for that to happen(the wrong readings)), so it does make a difference...just as much as the AEM(almost-maybe not he same sound)!!!
I whole point was that even though EBAY sucks...the Intake is ok...!!! IF ANY OF YOU GUYS WANT SO SEE HOW I DID IT WRITE BACK( I just dont need any more people telling how bad it is - especially because they dont know!) IF NOONE IS INTERESTED IT IS OK!!! I WILL JUST MAKE PICTURES WHEN I DO SOMETHING ELSE!!!

ebay Intakes just have had bad rap since there isn't really a brand on some of them to represent quality... But even then quality may still have problems =P but post pics anyways I'm sure there are others who have put them in or are considering it..and at least you having it is proof it works It's just that most people in Ca also can't have such Intakes since often they aren't CARB approved. Well so long its working good for you (which it seems to be) that's great cause you just saved about two hundred

Thank you.: Blue BatMobile for sponsorship, Isaac for installing strut bar, Easy_C for being a great friend, Sakara for entertainment, DaBigTickett for the laughs. Everyone at Ecelica! You guys rock! Random: How many emo kids does it take to screw in a lightbulb? None, they just sit in the dark and cry.
