If i get the BRS fender flares, and mold them on (duh), since they are 3 inches wider, what rim size would i need to fit?? Now i do know some numbers, I'm gonna look for rims that are 18x8, with 5x100 bolt pattern and im gonna get 225/40/18, but my question is, what offset number do i need so that it matches up to the flare, like what satoshi and Double_ohh_GTS have. I want them to be flush, so all i need to know is what offset, anyone know?? Im trying to buy some asap, so i need to know, thank you!!

Satoshi said that these were the dimensions for his rims, front 9J, 245-35-18
rear 10J, 285-30-18
What does that mean??

The 245 & 285 are the width of the tires. As for offset, you'll wanna go with a 30mm, that way it'll push the wheels further out w/o having to get Spacers.

wrong...
bigger tire will hit the inner (front) or cutten fender (rear).

satoshi, what rim size do you recommend for the BRS flares?? I want to go with 18s, so what rim width, and then what tire dimensions??

it depends on whether you will cut the stock fenders. if you won't, you can't fit wider tires.

I'm running 8,5x19" with 30 offset, and the car is lowered 60mm up front and 70mm rear -- and there's no scrubbing. so if you want something to fill out your arches with the flares, you're going to need something much wider than 8x18 with a 30 offset.

..and 235 or 245 tyres for 8" wheels is too much. I've got 235 on 8,5" wheels. Go with maximum 225 (I'd go with 215 wide with a 40 profile)

60mm front and 70mm rear...How much is that in Inches??

And how much is 30mm offset??

Well, all i want is 18x9, rear and forward...so what would be the perfect offset and i am going to go with a 40 profile, so what would i go with in width, in tires for a 9 inch width rim??

Anyone else who can help me out let me know!!

At first, pre-fit the fendar flares.
Second, adjust the position of rims using Spacers.
Third, calculate the appropriate offset and rim size.
Last, calculate the appropriate size of tires.

Anyway, 245-40-18 is IMPOSSIBLE.
225-40-18 for 9J rims or 245-35-18 for 9J rims.

You got me, i am also doing something with the NSX Vents, but again, still waiting for them to come in!! But i am not just putting them on like everyone else, i am incorporating them into my Custom Widebody, its gonna stick out with the fenders and flow onto the door, i already made a sketch with a friend of mine, who draws excellent, and this car is gonna look bad ass!! Whenever i go back home off this ship, ill scan it so i can show it!!
