Celica Forums General Discussion General What size rims?

Ok, whats the biggest width the celi can fit with the rims, i'm looking at some rims on the veilside site, and i know that we need 5x100 bolt pattern, i want to get 18's, now all i need to know is what width, i dont want it to wide, but no less then what the celi already has now, so what do we have now also??

Anyways, the biggest i've seen on celica is 19's that is with 225/30/19 with mad camber. It all depends on the tires and how much you lower the car.
For width, the biggest i've seen is 225.
i have 225/45/17 on my 17's and lowered with hotchkis springs. They do rub sometimes. So if you go with 18's makes you get a thinner tires

18x8 wheel will fill in the wheel wells pretty good, and go with a 225/40 tire.
