Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a way to remove or make it blend in with the rest of the paint.

The car that I recently purchased has a few marks of the Toyota Touch Up Paint. The previous owner thought that the way to apply the touch up paint was to just use the brush that came with the touch up paint and take it to the damaged spot and just leave it overnight. So now I have these brush marks.

Anyone know what I can do to make it at least a little bit even with the rest of the car?

Wish I knew too.. touch-up paint pen sucks big time.

very carefully wet-sand... then wax it... (leave the wet-sanding to a professional)

you could also try the polish/buffing method with the correct chemicals... like scratch-x / turtlewax scratch remover, but *SLIGHTLY* stronger thumbsup

I will give that scratch-x a try. Which one is best, Turtlewax or scratch x?

Also, what is this langka, can I get it from my local Kragen or something?

langka rocks, really rocks.
it makes the paint a bit soft and then polishes a small layer off.

Have the hood repainted? That is costly. How much does that run usually? $200?
