hey...i do have Tokico struts/springs...they are great!

If you are going for appearance and Performance it will certainly be the coilovers but i must say that the strut and spring combination is a lighter set up so that may be with the Performance part but if you like your car to be low as in low as fuck, barly enough clearance kinda low then again, the coilovers are for u.

Springs & struts less expensive & they'll perform very well. But coilovers will outperform springs/struts any day of the week.

The obvious benefits are that coilovers perform better 'cuz the spring & strut are tuned to work w/each other and you can adjust the ride height.

i'm

lets say i wanted to drop my car 1.5 inches and wanted the best Performance out of them what should i got with?

i always though that coilovers were the cheap easy way to lower your car and you get that constant bouncing when you go over a bump. while springs/shocks were the way to go by making the suspension really stiff and handleing sharper and better. please correct me if i'm wrong

lol, you got them backwards...springs/struts is the cheapest way to lower your car. You can get adjustable struts which allow you to adjust the dampening...make the ride softer or firmer.

For best Performance go w/coilovers, but be prepared for a stiff ride. Even on the softest setting the ride is still stiffer than stock, but hey, there's a price to pay if you want "god" like handleling

i think i'd try to pay for coilovers ... if you dun wanna heard ur ass , get a new seat or stuff cottons in how about some brand names v3n0m ? thx not too expansive tho ... average or ... good deal once ... trd ? 1.3k usd ~ i think ...

Unless you race on the track or have money to burn go with coilovers, otherwise save your cash and get some new springs and shocks which will still give you good Performance and apperance. Best priced set for sale is the Tokico HPK set, pretty cheap 1" to 1.3" drop and should be pretty good quality, otherwise most people seem to choose KYB AGX shocks and Eibach springs. I'm going Tokico though.
