I dont think anything will prevent you from getting tagged for speeding if the officer is using a laser gun. the lasers are highly accurate and for a detector to recognize the laser, it'll be too late. I heard the laser is very narrow too,

laser detectors don't work. But what does work are laser scramblers. They are a lot more money though. I read about em in some car magazine about a month ago. I'll see if I can find any links about it.

Once laser tags you, and it blips on the detector, you are dead.

Polish your car to a mirror finish, viola, no laser tickets spineyes

Isn't the Valentine 1 radar detector supposed to be the best one out there? From what they say, it detects laser from all angles...at least that's what they say.
