I would pick Tanabe. If you're going to drop it, make it noticable. thumbsup

tanabe 2" is perfect for add on kits...the s techs r prolly better for big body kits n big rims...IMO as for quality and Performance...i'd say it's about the same..it's just springs, u'd need struts n sway bar sets to actually feel handling difference...comfort? my tanabe's r very comfy considering the low drop..and i'm sure the s tech are a smooth ride too since it's 1.5"

I have the tein s-techs w/ kyb agx gas shocks and I like the stance and handling. If you're going for the slammed look then I would go w/ tanabe. But I think the Teins are a good compromise between looks and drivability. I have 17" rims and I pleased w/ the way it looks. Not to mention a 1.4" drop is a lot easier on your struts than a 2.0" drop.

Q: How do you double the value of a Ford?
A: You put gas in it.

well the tein's have a springs rate of 3/4 which is pretty stiff. don't know much about the tanabe.

toms makes great products

as for the tein or tanabe question...

personally i would go with the S Techs w/ some KYB gas shocks... it would ride real nice

but since you dont want a body kit... you could drop it to the ground but it would be a rough ride and with the tanabe springs you will need a camber kit too

I love my tanabe springs, great look, great ride, great price. Put them on KYB struts and you can't go wrong.
