Body Kit Question

I just went to a body shop to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get a wings west kit put on. They said it would cost about 500 just to get it painted and installation with paint would probably be in the 1000's. how much should it cost or is this about right

that's a rip off you should be able to paint it and have it installed for 500.00 or less. otherwise you can do it yourself( install i mean).
