Define functional? All that air coming in will help cool the engine but its not like you are goin to gain anything but the weight reduction from this hood.

functional hoodscoops mean that they do actually provide air flow. As far as im concerned, no you won't gain anything maybe .5hp lol. But basically it's not stopped up with plastic that's supposed to look like a grate. aka new body mustangs.

it will never make you gain HP spineyes

what the hood those is free up weight first of all

second it provides air flow to engine with raised hood scoop which lets the engine run cooler and free up the stress on your engine, lettin it perform better

third would be even more air flow with the second vent that faces backwards which was designed to let the hot air out from the engine. it basicly circulated from the first hood scoop and out the second

hope this helps thumbsup

yea thanks a lot guys. i guess by functional i meant there was an actual air vent under the hood scoop to cool the engine. basicaly i was wondering if the invader hood had actual air vents just like the oem celica hood has actual air vents.
