well, the question is how much bass do you want? if you are trying to get ALOT of bass you don't want them. And if you are trying to just augment the sound system in the celi with a nice amount of bass but not tons, i would recommend the infinity system available at any circuit city. see my profile for pics its called a "bass link", great quality sound, easy intall, and fairly small. sounds great in the celica, but its not going to produce a ton of bass.

i just kinda want the bass to b there. i have 2 amped 6.5 pioneer 4ways in the back, but i took out my subs because i kinda blew my amp, and im in the process in making a costume box but i was thinking about the tube because of its weight, i am also considering the rockford tube that they have at best buy they dont have it online but maybe uve seen it. so im just looking for a small self amped enclosure

It's SUCH hollow sounding bass. Don't do it.

My friend used to have one in their SUV. I just asked him about it tonight, and he wasn't impressed.

If you really are only doing it for weight, you can find better options. One good 10" sub with a sealed box and an amp won't weigh that much more, but will sound 100x better.

The problem is... woofer quality is largely determined by the size of the magnet. If the magnet weighs nothing, the speaker is pretty crappy.

I'm considering one too, for a cheap temporary thing. Better than none at all, right guys? Just avoid the one that says NOS on it.
