covered the box in red vinyl. gonn add trim pieces all around to meet all of the curves. they will be covered in black vinyl. all of this was done by myself and one of my friends. what do you think?

I really don't like your amp selection, I would have chosen MTX, Kicker, or certain Audiobahn amps to accent that system, I'm not a fan of Xplod

i had the amp from my last system. its actually a really good one imo, 900 watts of rms and a .002 distortion rate.

36" across, 24" from font to back, 10" deep. made the box wide instead of deep so that i could mount the sub face up. sounds great that way. i just put fatmat in not too long ago too. almost no rattle at all. smile

Looks good...surprised nobody has hassled you about 'why did you get square subs? THEY SUCK!'. I believe people did that to nates.

my friend and i built the box last weekend in about an hour together. (the sub was still in the mail). i got the sub friday and covered the box in vinyl and mounted it in. the vinyl wasn't hard at all to do. all in all i had maybe 3 hrs in this project tops. my friend has an awesome set of tools so we were able to do it quickly.

i was gonna fix it to where it covered the whole trunk but i like that little compartment right behind the seats. its where i keep my little black tool box, which comes in handy quite often. cool
