has anyone have a borla exhaust?? because i was curious to see how it performs and sounds but my first choice was a TRD exhuast because im not looking to go very loud so if anyone has suggestions or knows about the borla let me kno

I've heard that the Borla and TRD exhausts are one and the same since the TRD is purportedly made by Borla - - I'd go with TRD regardless... awesome gains and not ricey loud

borla makes the trd exhaust...
go with whatever is cheaper because your gonna get the same thing.

yeah i would go with borla, since not everybody has it. And everybody has TRD, just like honda. And borla is way cheaper than trd. And borla makes quality exhausts. i had trd, but i wanted something little more louder and deeper and i decided to go with Apexi N1.

I know I have posted several times on this topic, I have had the borla for over 2 years now, if you are looking for good sound...don't get it. It doesn't sound any different than stock. Unless you are running a straight pipe to it. I think the sound is less b/c it doesn't have a collector (coffee can) near the tip. It's just the muffler. My .02

i'd go with the trd, it has the best gains and isn't excessively loud.

It doesn't sound any different than stock. Unless you are running a straight pipe to it. hmmm ur saying there is basically no sound...i heard a borla on that focus i mentioned and it grumbles nicely...but i guess i will go with a TRD

if anyone can get me a borla sound clip will help me a lot seriously i have like $500 lying around and im planning on buying either a TRD, Borla or RMM all the same type loudness i believe so please anyone that has a borla help a bro out

we put a borla exhaust on a gti the onther day. i understand that they are totally differernt cars but there was no sound change from stock and a 925.67 price tag on it for (wat he said 14% gain from stock which i ) go with trd

yea i was leaning more to getting a TRD but since everyone was saying that borla mad TRD's then i thought they would sound similar
