I am seriously looking to buy a CAI and have pretty much decided to go with the K&N Typhoon CAI. I was just wondering if anyone has this or knows of any information on it, as for as Performance goes. Any info would help. THANX!

I have a K&N Typhoon Short Ram...Love it and I cant say anything bad about AEM or Injen cause I have no personal experience...I noticed that my engine has a very nice growl when accelerating and a cool sound when you shut the engine off. Take offs are definately more powerful. I am sure this is true for a CAI...only bad side to the K&N S/R and any S/R is the heat soak...I have noticed this a lot lately Houston is hot with the past week between 80 to 90+% humdity and dude it sucks ass I can tell it doesnt like the climate here...but with the CAI I am sure you'll be happy plus it has the slight HP gain due to less heat soak. Good luck and happy Intake hunting thumbsup

I'd recommend the new TPR Intake. Of course i would also recommend putting a K&N X-stream filter on it with the water proof cover if your going CAI. TPR is going to be your best bet for an Intake unless your running a PFC and can tune it for the improper MAFS measurements.
